Erica Perfect for my 21 month old so he can see what I'm doing in the kitchen!

Rudy The manufacturer states that the Kitchen Helper is the greatest kitchen aid for kids since the high chair. They were so correct!! Both of my kids love it. They can now actually be involved in some of the real chores around the kitchen. They even use it now to hop up to the sink to wash their hands before dinner.

It folds in a seconds when we need it out of the way when company is coming and stores in an area about the size of a folding TV table!

We love our Kitchen Helper!!

momofbhc The product is great. My 2 year old daughter enjoys being up at the counter to "help mommy" and the helper tower allows her to do that and allows me to feel better about her being at counter height. It was very easy to put together. The 2 things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars is...1)the fact that you have to undo a screw to fold it up (which is not convenient) and unexpected as it is not advertised that way and...2) although it is stable, if the stabilizing feet were a little longer it would be more secure. All together I am very happy with the product and feel that it is a better alternative to her standing on a tall chair.

[@] We bought this for our 21 month old daughter (now 23 months), who is very petite (26" tall). She would fuss a lot when she couldn't see what we were doing in the kitchen. So, I did a lot of research and narrowed my search to 3 different kitchen helper stands that would best suit all of our needs. We selected this particular stand, because of the 4 to 5 star reviews that we saw on dozens of sites, that it folds up for easy hideaway storing, reputation for being very sturdy, the adorable cut-out shapes, and the price.

Our daughter immediately figured out how to get in and out of it after 2 tries. She loves climbing, so we knew she would master the concept :-). She also loves to stand in general, since she was 4 months old, and let's just say that this stand has turned into her go to for everything. My husband put felt tabs on the bottom of the legs, so that we could move it easily from station to station on our hardwood floors.

For breakfast, my husband and daughter make breakfast together (he puts the stand next to the fridge, where he hands her whatever breakfast fixings they are having that day (from eggs, bread, jelly, goat cheese, cheddar cheese, hash browns, etc.), while she places everything on the counter. She also helps make pancakes and pumpkin french toast, all because she can stand at counter height to mix things easily.

After breakfast is made, we move her stand to the very large butcher block that we have in our prep room, and her breakfast plate in front of the stand, where she proceeds to eat. Throughout the rest of the day, she helps prepare every meal, while using her stand, and eating at her favorite spot. She has also pushed the stand to the kitchen sink, while we do dishes, so that she can see what's going on :-). Oh, and after a few days of using the stand, she stopped using her toddler highchair.

We could see using this stand until she is tall enough to comfortably prepare things at the counters, which could potentially be until she's 8+, because she is so petite :-).

We plan to buy more, when we have baking and cooking classes with her friends.

Overall - Excellent, and worth every penny!!

Kate the kid wrangler the kitchen helper is truly wonderful. My 13 month old loves it! We keep it at the end of our counter, in a very very small kitchen. He can climb in and out win out any safety concerns after just a couple practice runs, and he will play in/under/around it for a good 30 minutes most days while I'm making dinner.

He is an early walker/climber, so I imagine not all 13 month olds will be ready for this climb, but the platform is very sturdy, and the safety bars are too, so you could lift them in and out until they are confident enough to do it on their own.

This item folds up too, so you can sneak it in he coat closet while you have guests over if you wanted, although we don't! It's cute and a good conversation starter with other moms!

The footprint of the platform is nice and compact.

The assembly is a piece of cake, just 9screws- 1 for each foot piece, and 1 to secure the platform. I did it during a nap and still had time for other chores.

All in all, I love love love this purchase.

Lily's Proud Grandma I purchased this for my Granddaughter. It is the best thing ever! I just love it! I no longer have to worry about her falling from a chair while at the sink. She is safe and secure beside me. I disagree with another review that states you do not need to use the bolt to secure the platform because it is time consuming to put it in the folded position. The bolt is there for safety. If my Granddaughter were to life the platform the unit would collapse onto her . She would be hurt. I just leave it in the set up position secured with the bolt Her safety is my main concern.I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy it again.

aumom I bought this for myself and my granddaughter. It is just perfect. I am giving one to my daughter for Christmas.(She loves mine.) No more trying to cook dinner with a baby in my arms, now she "helps". It is very well made and sturdy....we have no complaints at all.

Gigglezz We use this kitchen stand every single day. My son LOVES this stand and LOVES to help me cook. I like that the sides are not open like other stands and is much safer for my squirmy son, it is very sturdy and it folds for easy storage. We got ours in Red and the color is Awesome. My son is 2.5 and has been using the stand for almost a year. I highly recommend this kitchen stand for all of your little helpers.

M. Barrett "Full Time Dad" I got this so my two year old could help her momma "cook". She loves it, we use it when washing her hands at the kitchen sink.

The best part of this design over others is when it folded it stores up against the wall out of the way.
